Project Overview

Deep dive into ATLAS World Models

ATLAS is N2L’s interactive world modeling platform — the spatial infrastructure layer that powers navigable, data-driven models of physical systems at any scale, from planetary surfaces to deep-space phenomena. Where a single world model captures one system, ATLAS is the framework that makes it possible to build, maintain, and explore many of them: a growing atlas of the observable universe rendered in real time.

Orbitarium is the first world model built on ATLAS — a live, navigable model of our solar system from the Sun out to the Kuiper Belt. Future ATLAS models will extend further, covering orbital mechanics, atmospheric systems, deep-space structures, and spatial phenomena that don’t yet have a platform built to hold them. ATLAS is N2L’s long-term commitment to turning the physical universe into something that can be explored, not just observed.
